Call for Papers

Authors are invited to submit full-length papers on or before September 30, 2020. The paper should indicate the Theme Number under which it falls on the uppermost corner of the right-hand side. Title, author(s) name(s) and affiliations along with email addresses of the authors are required. All the received papers will undergo plagiarism scrutiny and peer review by experts. Final paper acceptance will be given only upon registration to the conference by at least one author. Accepted full-length papers will be published by Springer in its 'Lecture Notes in Civil Engineering' series which is indexed in Scopus database, provided at least one author registers for the conference. Each presenting author can register for a maximum of two papers. However, it is required to pay an additional paper registration fee.

To recognize and encourage the exemplary work of young geotechnical and earthquake engineers, the Organizing Committee has decided to award at least one best paper from each theme with 10 or more full-length papers (oral or poster).

Paper submissions can be done under any one of the following categories. Choose the appropriate category in the paper submission portal while submitting your paper.

1.Technical Paper Oral: The presenting author of the accepted full-length paper may be given 10 minutes to present his/her paper (including Q&A).
2.Technical Paper Poster: The presenting author of the accepted full-length paper will be given a chance for displaying his/her poster.
3.Only Extended Abstract with Poster: The registered author/s of the accepted extended abstract (of about 800 words) may be given a chance for displaying their poster.
4.Only Abstract without Poster: Author/s of the accepted abstract (of about 200 words) will be allowed to register under the author category.
Notes:
i) The oral presentation duration mentioned above is tentative.
ii) The final category of the accepted full-length paper is based on the discretion of the paper review committee and may not correspond to the authors' choice during the submission. The decision of the paper review committee is final and binding.
iii) The evaluation criteria and the number of best paper awards will be based on the discretion of the award committee. The decision of the award committee is final and binding.
